A loss at the buzzer to the Eastern Conference champions on the road shouldn't bother anybody. This game coupled with the OTL at the Heat make this first three game losing streak in two years semi-bearable. It was loss at Charlotte that was ugly. About as ugly as you can get.

See my previous post about that Bobcat game AC, don't want to re-visit the anger and frustration generated from that game, lets just say I totally agree with you...

You know what I found interesting that I never realized was how much the race card played into this too as far the the Lakes vs the Celts. Maybe living in LA our view is not the same as back east or obviously the deep south but I never realized that back east all the white people were lining up with the Celtics (and their great white hope,,,thier words not mine) and the African Americans were for the Lakers. They will touch on that and here is is 25 years later and its the first I knew of it. Bird is pretty good with his responses over that too. Al I knew was I hated the Celtics and I didn't care who beat the tar out of them. I actually wondered if it was true because it was actually touched on in the movie American History X don't know if you guys have watched that movie.

Being as I was born and raised in Los Angeles, stuff like that never entered my mind...Frankly it blows my mind that all these years later this is the 1st time I've heard this, I find it disgusting that in this day and age people can't let prejudice go and let it die...

Maybe those loses were a good thing, the Lakers teamwork was clicking last night Kobe 21, Bynum 18, Fish, Artest and Pau 15 each, seemed like everyone was on the same page, the ball was moving well and everyone was getting wide open looks...Really balanced scoring, Phoenix didn't know who to guard and it seemed like the Lakers could go on a run any time they wanted to...Very enjoyable game to watch...

GOOOOOO LAKERSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lakers and Warriors off to their usual 200 point per team pace lol... 39-32 Lake Show after the 1st... Darth Bynum has been Sith Master like out there tonight with 8/3/1bk... Kobe has been Kobe with 9/2/4/2st... Big Bird has 9/3/1 but is just 1-4 from the charity stripe...he has been revoltingly disgusting at the free throw line for like a month now, he's gotta do something to fix that... Artest stroked 2 three's in a row and has 4 dimes... Keep up the good passing Lakers!! 13 assists on 14 makes is getting it done...

65-59 Warriors as the Lakers forget how to play basketball in the 2nd quarter...
The Lakers have 15 freakin' turnovers in this game...that is atrocious, and the 7 missed FTs (4 from Big Bird) are atrocious as well...
Odom has been a bright spot off the bench though, with 11/6/1, shooting perfectly from everywhere (4-4 on 1-1 3 pts & 2-2 FTs)...
Big Bird has 14/5...
The Lakers need to clean up the sloppy play on the offensive end and stop giving up 3 pointers to that Tolliver fool (never heard of this dude and he's got 11 points with 3-3 from downtown)...
And they really should keep feeding the rock inside, without Turiaf or Biedrins the Warriors have nobody to stop our bigs down low...

Those two young guards (ones a rookie I think) are both studs for the Warriors and both had an open 3 at the end and couldn't nail them for the tie, but that rook is gonna be r-e-a-l good sooner than later...Great penetrator...Fun game to watch, its like a track meet out there...
