What two pitchers would you like to see in our rotation come opening day in addition to Kershaw, Billingsley and Kuroda?

You can select two options, just one if you want the Dodgers to stick with what they have.

Poll per: azdodger53

I would like the Dodgers to use Spring Training and the first two months of the season converting Belisario. He was a starter in the minors for the Marlins before an arm injury. He was very young when they added him to the 40 man roster. Aside from Kershaw, he probably has the most electric stuff. The issue is that his arm injury must have been pretty serious so we would need to limit his innings pitched. Through Spring and the first 2 months he could be limited to 4 innings pitched. In that time, we just see what happens with everyone else if we don't sign someone.

One more thing to add, even if Haegar isn't in the rotation, I feel he would be a perfect fit for us as the long man and spot starter. He could end up pitching a very valuable 120 innings in that role. An exchange from Elbert to Haegar would be interesting.

I would worry about Belly as a starter, as you noted he has had arm trouble in the past and spent time on the DL last year with with elbow irritation (over use by Torre?). He also seems to let his emotions get the better of him at times, I think he is better suited for a 1 or 2 inning role.

I totally understand where you are coming from. One thing to consider a little further is how he is used. There is a lot more wear in getting up and down to get hot than there is in being a starter in a routine. Starters have to deal with fatigue. It's delicate either way. I would personally lean towards having control and having a routine he follows daily. We shall see.

I thought Sheets was the obvious choice but even if he lowered his demands (and I think at present he wants 12mil) to more than $1.50 I think he'll be too expensive for us this year. I like the idea of our 5th starter coming from internal stores but maybe that's where our 4th starter will come from as well. They're already paid for.

Our SPs do a pretty good job of self policing this, except for CK. And of course Wolf's 220 IP last year.

Either Garland or Padilla would be fine. Would prefer better but we are not going to get it.

Can we create the exact poll again and subtract the signed options?
